Brownber Hall Country House has 10 spacious, comfortable bedrooms, all en-suite or with a private bathroom. There are double, twin, family and single rooms, many with excellent views across lovely, open country to the hills beyond. All rooms are furnished to a high standard and have TV and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a comfortable lounge with a log fire and an elegant dining room. All are finished to the highest standards.Lift
The Hall has a lift and is suitable for disabled persons.
Food and drink
Brownber Hall provides guest accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis. We do not ordinarily provide evening meals as there are a number of inns and restaurants within a short driving distance enabling guests to eat locally then return to Brownber Hall for a few drinks in the lounge or on the terrace to complete their evening. However for guests walking or cycling, who are travelling without a support motor vehicle, a fixed menu "Walkers supper" may be available. Please contact us for further information.
Breakfast
We aim to please and always try to accommodate your special requirements, you can select your favourite breakfast every day prepared using local Cumbrian produce. Breakfast is normally served between 8.00am and 9.30am but we will happily accommodate requests for an earlier breakfast whenever required.
Smoking
In accordance with current legislation you may not smoke anywhere inside the premises, but please feel free to enjoy a smoke outside on the terrace.
Pets
Well behaved dogs are welcome at Brownber Hall but we do limit the number staying at any time so please contact us for further information prior to booking.
